What You Will Learn

Explore the cultures of the Plains Indians, China, Japan, India, Africa, and Aboriginal Australia through objects, books and digital audiovisual media and let your inspiration guide you as you make your own world art. Learn block print and wax resist dye techniques to make African Adinkra and indigo cloth, as well as an India inspired block print. You will also create a Chinese landscape, Native American parfleche bag and war shield, and Aboriginal style painting.
