What You Will Learn
This course prepares electricians with at least 5 years of working experience in the National Electrical Code to sit for the Master Electrician licensing exam. Topics to be covered include advanced calculations and requirements of the NEC, as well as best practices for passing the examination. Dependent on location where the student plans to test, different editions of the NEC are used. Instructor will utilize 2020 NEC book for the purpose of instruction. JCCC is not a testing site for the Master Electrician License. License exam must be completed externally.
Students must bring/supply the following to class:
1. Edition of the National Electrical Codebook that student plans to use for testing (approx. cost $100)
2. Notebook, highlighter, pen
