What You Will Learn

Reading aloud to children has many benefits including language and vocabulary development, building community and connection, and improving social skills. This session will cover strategies designed to help all learners (with an emphasis on English Language Learners) improve their English language skills in fun, respectful, and effective ways during Storytime. We will learn by doing: browsing books, brainstorming ideas, and creating a short read-aloud lesson plan (template provided).
