This course is designated to teach “Community Spanish” to non-Spanish-speaking students with basic knowledge of the Spanish language. It is based on repeating the expression’s pronunciation, which can be used immediately in daily communication with Spanish speakers. The Spanish pronunciation is based on Phonetic encoding. Grammar stories, role-play, and Cross-Cultural issues are included in the course.
Prerequisite: Previous study or use of the Spanish language or with instructor permission.
Required Course Materials: Textbook will be sent as a PDF to registered students prior to the start of class; cost is included in the registration fee.
