Mini-Excavator (2-Day)

What You Will Learn

This Mini-Excavator Course is designed to ensure that the student can safely and effectively operate a Mini-Excavator. It is not designed to make the participants experts, but it will give them a foundation in the principles of the Mini-X and give them a chance to demonstrate that they can safely operate the machine. The goal is to certify the participant in the operation of the Mini-Excavator.

Total time to complete the training is 20-30 hours, 16 hours of which will be in the classroom and field. This is a hybrid course that requires the self-paced online portion be completed prior to the class start date.

Prerequisite: CNST-004 Heavy Equipment Safety

All students will attend the classroom portion on the first day of class (Tuesday). On the second and third day of class, only half of the class will participate in hands-on training. Students will be informed on the first day of class which day they will complete their hands-on training.
