Instructor

What You Will Learn

This hands-on, beginner-friendly course takes the mystery out of how your home works and builds your confidence to tackle common household repairs. You’ll explore the essentials of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems—the key components of what is often the biggest, and most expensive, investment you’ll ever make.

Each class includes a guided project where you’ll roll up your sleeves and put your new knowledge to work on real-life repairs, like replacing an outlet, fixing a leaky faucet, or patching drywall. You’ll walk away with practical skills, newfound confidence, and a deeper understanding of the place you call home— and how to keep it safe, in good repair, and more affordable to maintain.
