This course is designed for individuals who need to renew their license. It is a part of the larger course that trains you for a career as an operator of assisted living facilities, residential health care facilities, home plus, and adult day care facilities in the state of Kansas through training on the aging process and its effect on activities, treatment, and management of the elderly, among others. Successful completion of the course and the comprehensive final exam satisfies the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services' Operator Course requirement of the Operator Registration application. Current Operators can also take this course to receive updates on the latest information in assisted living and residential health care.
