What You Will Learn

Participants will be able to design residential landscapes that manage stormwater using rain gardens and ecological water strategies, and gain confidence in applying for JOCO “Contain the Rain” cost-share programs.
What you’ll learn:
• Explain how stormwater moves through residential landscapes
• Identify appropriate locations for rain gardens and water management features
• Select native plants adapted to variable moisture conditions
• Design basic rain garden systems based on site conditions and drainage patterns
• Understand how to align rain garden projects with JOCO “Contain the Rain” cost-share program requirements
