Beekeeping: Fundamentals of Hive Management

What You Will Learn

When you are ready to go to the next level, this 4-day course combines classroom learning with hands-on field experience as you dive deeper into the hive and explore whether beekeeping is a fit for you. Participants will explore current beekeeping practices while learning bee behavior, hive management, pests and diseases, swarming, and honey harvesting. The course is designed for learners who want practical knowledge and confidence in backyard beekeeping, whether they plan to maintain a hive now or simply deepen their understanding of bees and hive care.

Prerequisite: Beekeeping Basics: A Sweet Introduction or Beginner's Beekeeping, or have equivalent experience.
