Impression of New York: Flowers & Autumn Strolls

What You Will Learn

Students will learn to paint a themed landscape from Central Park in New York. (Trees, flowers, architecture and sky scrapers) using contemporary Impressionistic techniques inspired by Childe Hassam. The course teaches contemporary Impressionist principles early on, then moves gradually into mid-stage development and finishing refinements. By the end, each student will complete a full painting on canvas. Please check the class outline for the list of supplies.
