What You Will Learn

Prepare your hives for one of the busiest seasons of the beekeeping year! In this practical class, you’ll learn to recognize signs that a colony may be preparing to swarm, manage rapidly growing populations, and determine when a strong hive may be ready to split. Explore strategies for supporting healthy bees, reducing the risk of losing a swarm, and setting your colonies up for a productive spring.
