What You Will Learn

Learn the fundamentals of designing attractive, functional container gardens that provide year-round interest and ecological benefits.  Topics include selecting containers, matching plants to light and growing conditions, combining plants for seasonal appeal, and maintaining healthy containers throughout the year.  Discover how flowers, herbs, vegetables, and native plants can create beautiful displays while supporting pollinators and other beneficial wildlife.  No prior gardening experience is required.
What you’ll learn:
• Selecting the right containers, soil, and plants for long-term success
• Matching plants to sun, shade, moisture, and seasonal conditions
• Designing beautiful container combinations using color, texture, and form
• Maintaining healthy containers throughout the year, including seasonal transitions
