What You Will Learn
The foundation of relationship-based care includes promoting a healthy environment through the power of relationships with the people with whom we work and our patients, caregivers and families. Key elements will be reviewed such as respect, dignity, empathy, and shared decision-making. Communication techniques will be discussed. This course will discuss the importance of relationship development as well as well as assessing outcomes.
Social workers, LPCs, LCPCs and registered dieticians will earn 3 contact hours. ACHAs will earn 3 hours. APRNs, RNs and LPNs can self-submit to KSBN.
