What You Will Learn
This course is designed to give the novice some basics of car care and maintenance practice. This course will enable the student to check and change tires, understand tread wear and what it might indicate, check fluids, understand fluid types, colors and smells, and check and change air filters, belts and bulbs, to name just a few major vehicle safety checks.
It is required that students wear pants and close-toed shoes and pull their hair back.
Safety glasses are required to enter the automotive lab. Students are invited to bring their own or will wear a JCCC issued pair. No textbook required.
