Drawing Fundamentals
What You Will Learn
Use the art of pencil and soft charcoal drawing to capture the world around you. Drawing Fundamentals is designed to help both serious beginners and experienced artists hone and develop their skills through a classically inspired approach.
Bring a newsprint pad 18” x 24” (at least 25 sheets), a light-weight portable drawing board with clips (to hold newsprint pad), two jumbo bull-dog clamps, eight or more sticks of soft vine or willow charcoal, a box of four or more black Alphacolor Char-Kole pastel sticks (or soft compressed charcoal sticks will do), a kneaded eraser, a hard eraser, and push-up eraser and an artist’s chamois to the first session.
