Course 1 - Little Minds, Big Feelings: Understanding Social Emotional Development in Young Children

Social-emotional skills are essential for the healthy development of all children. In this session, we’ll explore seven key areas of social-emotional development and share practical strategies to support these skills in everyday routines. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how positive, caring relationships and responsive interactions are the foundation when working with young children.

Course 2 - Connecting from the Start: Creating Strong Relationships with Families

Developing positive relationships with the families and children in our early childhood settings is essential for the success of the child. In this session, we will look at how healthy and meaningful interactions with children build brain connections and social-emotional security. We will also explore ways to develop healthy and meaningful relationships with families, respect the family culture, and increase communication to best support the whole child.
