What You Will Learn

Develop foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence and LLM through a combination of theory and practice. Learn about tools and techniques including LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging face and off-the-shelf open source LLMs.

Topics include:
Understanding AI/ML
Foundations in ML, Deep Learning, NLP
How Generative AI works
Understanding LLMs and LLM use
Tools and techniques used when building LLMs
LLM implementation and optimization

Students should possess Python programming language essentials, as well as being comfortable with the command line.
