Getting Started with Fusion360
What You Will Learn
Take the next step in your 3D modeling journey with Fusion360! This class is designed for 3D modeling hobbyists who feel they have outgrown 3D modeling tools like Tinkercad or want to start their journey with parametric modeling tools.Participants will:
• Understand the definition, pros, and cons of parametric modeling compared to other types of 3D modeling
• Design their first parametric object using classical isometric design exercises
• Design a parametric object for 3D printing (smartphone holder, pen holder, or watch holder)
Make sure to bring the following to class with you:
- Laptop computer. Windows or macOS, capable of running Autodesk Fusion
- Laptop power supply and charging cable so you can work through the whole class
- Mouse with a scrolling wheel, recommended for navigation and modeling
