3D modeling and 3D printing for Makers - Advanced 3D modeling with Fusion 360
What You Will Learn
Continue your 3D modeling journey with Fusion 360! This class is designed for 3D modeling hobbyists ready to move beyond 3D modeling tools like Tinkercad or want to explore parametric modeling tools.
Participants will:
• Learn about the pros, and cons of parametric modeling compared to other types of 3D modeling
• Design parametric models based on classical isometric design exercises and personal projects
• Learn about advanced design and assembly techniques specific to 3D printing
Make sure to bring the following to class with you:
- Laptop computer. Windows or macOS, capable of running Autodesk Fusion
- Laptop power supply and charging cable so you can work through the whole class
- Mouse with a scrolling wheel, recommended for navigation and modeling
