What You Will Learn
Begin your welding journey with a strong foundation in welding safety, terminology, equipment, and basic welding principles. This course introduces students to the welding industry while preparing them to earn the Lincoln Electric NC3 Welding Safety Essentials Certification. Whether you're a hobbyist, student, or professional, this certification provides foundational knowledge and resources to develop your welding skills and prepare you for further welding training.Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
• Demonstrate safe welding shop practices and hazard awareness.
• Identify common welding equipment, tools, and materials.
• Explain basic welding terminology and processes.
• Select and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Interpret basic welding symbols and industry terminology.
• Prepare for and earn the Lincoln Electric NC3 Welding Safety Essentials Certification.
