Road Guardians - Anatomy of a Motorcycle Crash
What You Will Learn
Calling all first responders! This CAPCE-accredited class is designed for professional rescuers who may arrive on the scene of a motorcycle crash. This course assumes participants already know how to treat injuries and concentrates on specific motorcycle-related concerns such as scene safety, helmet removal, jaw thrust rescue breathing, mechanisms of injury and psychosocial aspects of the crash scene.This course is supported through a NHTSA grant issued by the Kansas Department of Transportation. Participants MUST be Kansas residents or must work as first responders in Kansas to participate. Upon successful completion and verification of Kansas residency or Kansas first-responder employment, participants will receive a refund of their registration fees.
