Still Life Painting
What You Will Learn
Ready to find the beauty in everyday objects and bring them to life on the canvas? Explore the foundations of oil or acrylic painting through the timeless practice of still life. Learn to see shapes, light, color, and space in new ways as you develop skills in observation, value, color mixing, composition, brushwork, and paint application. Each week offers an opportunity to build dimension and visual interest while discovering how the individual elements of a painting work together. Whether you are new to painting or ready to strengthen your skills, this class provides a thoughtful, hands-on path to creating expressive still life paintings.Students are responsible for bringing:
Oil Paint: (any brand), Similar color for Acrylic paint.
Titanium White (Buy several 37 ml tubes or one 150 ml tube)
