Accounting Basics
What You Will Learn
You will learn the essential language, concepts and processes of accounting, presented in a practical, nontechnical fashion. Cover the nature of accounting and generally accepted accounting principles, as well as the process of accounting, accounting equations, debits and credits, and accounting cycles. Explore how to create financial statements, balance sheets, statements of income and retained earnings, statements of changes in financial position, and more. This class is part of the Business Accounting Certificate.
This course is approved by SHRM for 10.5 hours.
