Introduction to SQL
What You Will Learn
Learn to write basic to advanced Structured Query Language (SQL) Data Manipulation Language (DML) statements to query or update data in a database. Topics include: querying data from one or more tables, joins, subqueries, insert, update and delete, data types, and using functions. SQL Data Definition Language (DDL) commands for creating databases, tables, and views are also introduced. Special emphasis is given to Single Table Queries and Multiple Table Queries (Joins).
The course uses SQL Server as the Database Management System and SQL Server Management Studio as the query tool.
