EMT Refresher

What You Will Learn

The JCCC EMT Refresher is an online course designed to meet the requirements of both Kansas and NREMT recertifications, depending on student needs. The course is designed based upon current National Model EMS guidelines and cover all required topics for both certifying bodies. Students will complete required lectures within the course CANVAS shell and will have four weeks to complete all required course requirements. Instructor is Scott Craig, Professor of EMS Simulation and questions regarding the course or recertification can be sent to scraig4@jccc.edu

Providers requiring only Kansas certification will have the ability to complete the required 28 Kansas hours with additional 12 hours for those requiring NREMT or both recertifications. Providers requiring preparation for additional cognitive or practical attempts in Kansas will be provided with resources to assist in preparing for these opportunities (this is additional content provided as needed and does not count towards required hours for the purposes of recertification).
