Harmonica for Beginners
What You Will Learn
Get an introduction to the art of harmonica playing with JCCC music instructor Harvey Fitzer, a multi-instrument talent with years of experience. You will learn the proper way to hold the harmonica, how to produce a clear tone, and chords and notes. You’ll apply what you have learned to play popular songs.
No prior knowledge of music reading is required. Students will need to bring a harmonica in the KEY OF C to class.
A textbook is required for this course and can be purchased through your preferred vendor:
