Camera Basics I
What You Will Learn
See the world through a new lens and create photos that are as memorable as the moments themselves. Explore the essentials of digital photography as you learn how camera settings, lenses, shutter speed, color balance, and depth of field work together to shape an image. Discover how to make creative choices with light, focus, and composition while gaining a clearer understanding of your camera’s features. Put your new skills into practice during a final on-location photo walk, where you can capture the world around you with a fresh perspective.
Students should bring their dslr camera to class, including the manual. No camera phones.
