Cost Accounting
What You Will Learn
Cost accounting is the part of managerial accounting which identifies, defines, allocates, measures, reports and analyzes current and predicted costs. Cost information is accumulated by a firm's information system and then assigned to various segments and activities (departments, segments, branches, products, territories, etc.). This class is part of the Business Accounting Certificate. Note: Those without an accounting background are strongly encouraged to start with Accounting Basics before registering for the other courses.
This course is approved by SHRM for 7 hours.
