Tableau: Data Visualization Essentials
What You Will Learn
Take the massive amounts of data you have access to and turn it into easily understood visuals, dashboards and stories with Tableau. Learn to connect to data whether the source is on premise or on a cloud. Customize the data source, navigate the Tableau interface, build and format visualizations, and build interactive dashboards. We'll cover filters, maps, calculations and parameters. We'll focus on best practices as we learn.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with basic data source concepts (tables, rows/columns, records/fields).
This is a component of the Data Visualization with Tableau Certificate and the Data Analyst I Professional Certificate.

Data Visualization with Tableau Certificate
Turn data into easy-to-understand and interactive visual representations. Courses will show you how to connect data to build sophisticated interactive dashboards. Complete all courses within one year and receive the Data Visualization with Tableau Certificate.

This certificate is designed for those who are new to the Data Analyst I Role or for those who would like to pursue this role. A data analyst collects and stores data on sales numbers, market research, logistics, linguistics, or other behaviors. They bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of the data and then process, design and present it in ways to help people, businesses and organizations make better decisions.
